AROUSED

Last week I visited Seribu Islands. I was accompanying my best friend – Beginer Subhan to lobby several parties for research purpose. For me personally, my mission was for silahturahim. It was my first visit after Eid Mubarak to Seribu Islands.

I took Begin to meet Pak May – a pioneer in corals farming. Pak May always amazed me. For him, “alam terbentang menjadi guru” – he learn from the nature. He laughs at us when he knows who put the artificial reefs at the reef banks for some reasons. Yea.. yea.. yea.. stupid me. He pointed out us a place suitable place for artificial reefs if we want to relocate those.

I was amazed when Pak May explain me how to change corals’ color. Also how to make corals stop kill each other, and of course how to grow different species in one single reef. Cooooool, huh? I never think of it. Yes you are right: I’m not smart, but I know smart people. ☺
Pak May also teach Begin how to transplant soft corals – something that Begin crazy about.
Begin give idea to write scientific paper with Pak May as the author. IT IS his invention. There are so many cases where the locals have the knowledge and the foreigners claimed it as if that is his own invention.

My head was fully loaded with research designs.
Arrrgggh.. it aroused me so much.

Interesting..

Can it work for home use? Such as the aquariums at home?

Might be a way to turn it commercial and plow the profits back to Pak May's work..
